EXC series
The goal of the EXC series, maintaining the philosophy of SUPRAVOX, high-efficiency full-range loudspeakers. With the EXC (Field-coil Loudspeaker) series, from 165 to 380 mm in diameter, the audiophile can satisfy his passion. The Supravox team, still in intense research activity, offers four evolutions of these classic references equipped with a powerful electromagnet.

The 215-EXC has been thoroughly reviewed: a new field-coil motor, developed using FEA software, whose pole profile brings better symmetry to the Bl(x) curve, with an excursion of 2.9mm, and generates less of distortion. The magnetic field reaches 1.4T in the 8mm gap.

This new magnetic assembly is ventilated, its high quality of manufacture is ensured by a CNC automatic winder. 

The moving assembly has been reviewed, we have come up with a new treatment to the cone.

All of this work allows us to retain the qualities of transparency and dynamics of the 215-EXC, with an even better tonal balance and significantly reduced distortion.
