Its objective, to maintain the philosophy of SUPRAVOX, full range driver units and high efficiency. We work still to widen the useful bandwidth for a highest efficiency possible, while unceasingly improving the definition, the quality and the linearity. Diameter 135 to 380 mm, the audiophile can satisfy its passion.

« LB » stands for «Large Bande » in French which means « Full Range ». Indeed, this great driver can be used in relatively small volumes, bass reflex or TQWT. Created in 2001, it is bafflable in small volume, in bass reflex or TQWT as a full range unit capable of going down to as low as  50Hz.

Cabinet plans are available on the site. It can also be used in full range medium in a high quality 3 way speaker.

High-Precision Craftsmanship: Made in France

Each Supravox loudspeaker inherits expertise born in the 1950s. From the iconic 215 RTF 64 to today's innovations, our loudspeakers are entirely hand-assembled in our workshop just outside Paris. A French standard of perfection that defies time to deliver pure musical emotion.

  • The Artisan's Touch

At the heart of our factory on the outskirts of Paris, each voice coil is hand-wound with micrometric tension. We use ultra-light supports and high-purity conductors to minimize moving mass. It is this extreme lightness that gives our loudspeakers their legendary responsiveness and their ability to reveal the finest details.

  • The Hand and the Spirit

Each loudspeaker is a unique piece, assembled by craftsmen whose expertise has been passed down for decades. The precision of the centering and the tension of the suspensions are adjusted by touch, a sensitivity that no machine can replicate. This artisanal assembly guarantees perfect fluidity of movement and exceptional longevity.

  • Exponential Paper Cones

Our cones are made from a proprietary recipe of long-fiber paper, manually processed to achieve an ideal balance of rigidity and damping. The exponential profile, pioneered by Supravox, ensures homogeneous sound diffusion. The result is an organic timbre and strikingly realistic vocal presence.

  • Magnetic Alchemy

Beyond the simple magnet, we master energy. In our factory on the outskirts of Paris, we forge Alnico 5 motors and Field Coil systems capable of saturating the air gap with absolute precision. This controlled power offers lightning-fast dynamics and almost zero distortion, hallmarks of Supravox's high sensitivity.

  • Signal Purity

Perfection often comes from subtraction. By designing full-range loudspeakers capable of covering most of the spectrum, we eliminate the need for crossover filters. The signal travels directly from your amplifier to the cone, preserving perfect phase coherence and a holographic soundstage of complete transparency.

  • Tested for Eternity

Each unit leaving our workshops undergoes a rigorous testing protocol: frequency analysis, impedance measurement, and tactile inspection of the excursion. But the final verdict belongs to the human ear. Each loudspeaker is validated by our technicians, ensuring that your investment will remain an exceptional instrument for decades to come.
